This curriculum redesign focused on the deployment of a new curriculum design, improving Epic foundational knowledge for new graduate nurses, & preparation for independent practice.

The intent of this design focuses on the application of a real-life scenario where new physician providers can explore the patient story, from admission to discharge in Epic’s EHR.

This course prepares Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) for foundational Epic practices in the hospital setting, in addition to preparing new PCAs in caring for patients and the transition to practice.
